New TK Website -
Two years in the making, the new website is finally live. It’s very simple but since I enjoy working with interesting characters and visuals, I wanted viewers to see more images than brands. The rollover function is a fun interactive way of communicating the brand while the images help convey the emotion of the spot or film.
In the ABOUT link, there’s a brief bio as well as a Calendar of Availability where visitors can view upcoming schedule and booked events. The NEWS link directs you to this very page, which I try to stay current. There’s a CONTACTS link where you’re able to send emails to reps and links to various social networks. And finally an ARCHIVE page where I stuff a list of relevant previous work.
The true power of the site is the enormous database of spots that it organizes. On the homepage, visitors are able to search magical keywords to find specific genres, styles, clients, and even people who worked on them. Try inputting Spanish and you’ll see a list of Spanish speaking commercials I directed. Type in Russia and a list of Russian spots will appear. Try documentary, foreign, spec, etc… The search searches the larger database and more historical spots that even do not appear on the Archive page. It’s a great way to find specific spots as well as genres for a potential project. Enjoy!

THE BOOK CLUB “The Warrior Reads On” (Vol. 6)
In episode 6 entitled “The Warrior Reads On”, the tournament goes down. It’s The Book Club vs Cobra Chai. (Karate Kid fans will get a kick out of some of the references in the final episode.) Which group is better in this face-off? Danny Pudi might have an advantage with his time on Community. Look for Cobra Chai cameos by fellow Community star Gillian Jacobs as Penelope, Jaya Subramanian, Jerrika Hinton, and Cristela Alonzo.
Come for the Karate Kid references, stay for the original, montage-worthy song that will make you want to hug Elisabeth Shue like you just beat Billy Zabka in a karate tournament.
THE BOOK CLUB “All Valley” (Vol.5)
The Book Club concludes with a double episode. In episode 5 entitled “All Valley”, one of the guys gets jumped by a rival book club “Cobra Chai”. With the confidence shattered, the four guys (Danny Pudi, Parvesh Cheena, Thomas Fowler, and Chris Marrs) on the verge of giving up find inspiration from an unlikely source Los Angeles Clippers’ Blake Griffin. The Book Club trains under the tutelage of sensei Blake Griffin in preparation for the All Valley Book tournament against Cobra Chai. Do they have what it takes to master the secret reading techniques?
From Channel APA. Because I’m too tired to come up with new ways to describe these episodes.
